Company History

Though formally established in the year 2001, the company has a rich legacy of a business and brand conceived in the year 1939 by the formidable Mr. A. G. Hawa, entrepreneur, bon vivant and stalwart of the pre-independence era. The legacy of trading has evolved as a true manufacturing plant and is now led from the front by the third generation of the family. We believe legacies must continue to be built for the future. The legacy that this generation wishes to leave behind is one of hard work and innovation in a demanding industry.

2001

FORMAL INCORPORATION

Hawa Valves was incorporated with a team of experienced professionals from diverse background, who all shared the same vision of quality driven valve manufacturing company. The company started with a small pilot plant in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat State of India, because we believed that the company too must share the same city of parentage as that of the family.

2002

VISION FOR THE FUTURE

The company’s second plant for manufacturing Ball Valves on a global scale was established in the city of Hubli in Karnataka State.

2006

GLOBAL SCALE

The company’s modern plant was established in the outskirts of the great global city of Mumbai, in the country’s first modern industrial estate. This continues to be the place where we have chosen to operate and expand. What started as a small workshop has now grown into full-fledged valves manufacturing factory over the years as a result of single minded dedication and hard work by the entire team.

2007-08

PURSUING SCALABLE CUSTOMERS GLOBALLY

The company outreach towards customers who would enable us to grow and provide a scalable and sustainable future was initiated and resulted in major approvals and accreditations. These would form the base for our vision of becoming a truly global valve company.

2014

EXPANSION AND SOPHISTICATION

A massive expansion and upgrade drive was initiated to prepare our company for the exponential growth that we foresee in the times to come. In an environment where the pundits predicted global recession, contrarian thinking led us to believe that the fundamentals were still in place, albeit at a slower rate of growth. And our base had to be expanded to reach global scale no matter what. This led us to commit a huge investment in sophisticated machinery and to upgrade our manpower and skill set to global levels.

2016

GLOBAL MULTINATIONAL

With the expansion nearly in place and humming along just fine, the company restlessly started thinking of the next challenge, and has read in between the (news) lines to start looking at replicating the successful manufacturing model developed over the years. New manufacturing lines are being thought of. New avenues are being explored. New markets shall be serviced.
