Roles and Responsibilities

1. Preparing Valve Design as per plan
2. Responsible & accountable for doing design calculations
3. To modify Designs as per the requirement
4. To develop parts and assemblies in 3D models of Design
5. To develop drafting of 3D Models like casting, proof, semifinish, finish etc as required
6. To create bills of Material
7. To maintain documentation of allotted work orders
8. To create design change notes for any changes or revision in the Drawings or BOM

Desired Candidate Profile / Skills

Education:

Diploma in Engineering or BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Total Experience:

1. If DME, then 3-4 yrs of experience in design is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Focal point for communication between the Client & Hawa Internal Customers
2. Monitoring progress of the entire work order cycle right from receipt of PO till dispatch of the Valves within CDD; and Closeout
3. Ensure Overall smooth & successful execution of Order within the scheduled Time Frame
4. Reviewing TPI Notifications/EPMTS for correctness before submission to the Client
5. Ensuring resolution of Internal/Client enquiries/issues during Order execution Stage
6. Finding alternative methods to resolve any hold ups/bottle necking by means of meetings/discussions/escalations with Various Departments and in Consultation with MD/CTO/COO and other senior personnel to avoid delays and achieve CDD
7. Attending Technical Meetings and Kick Off Meetings held at Client premises for technical Clarification, planning look ahead or progress updating of their respective orders
8. Attending Pre-Inspection Meetings for Order Clarification in terms f Inspection activities/documentation understanding and overall layout of Order Execution
9. Preparing and sending meeting Agenda in advance to all the Concerned Departments/Personnel/Clients
10. Attending & arranging tele-conferences for clarifications required from/by client or other order related updates whenever required
11. Attending meetings with Client Expeditors in order to provide update of order in terms of Documentations, Materail Receipt, Assembly, Inspection/Valve Readiness plan by providing EPMTS, Material/Valve Photo Evidence
12. To review Risk Assessment for all Work Orders for correctness & incorporate changes , if required
13. To make Contingency Plan for all the Orders where mitigation plan is unable to ensure on time delivery
14. To Conduct weekly progress meetings (Every week) for reviewing progress of New Orders to avoid last minute problems
15. Following up with all the Departments to ensure respective work is done on planned dates and within set time frame by means of meetings, emails, telephone calls etc
16. To ensure all material from shortage list of each work order is received well within planned dates with adequate time for processing
17. In event of Post Order changes, ensure updation & maintaining of Contractual delivery dates and execution plan as per Order changes
18. Responsible for EHS Implementation & Compliance
19. To ensure 100% HSE requirements are followed

Full Job Description

• Review project specifications and prepare deviations list

• Clarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with Impact partner/LBP and WA factory

• Sizing and selection of relief valves using proprietary PRV2SIZE software

• Contact WA factory as and when required for critical application solutions/special prices

• Prepare Technical Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawings

• Participate in kickoff meetings, Technical Bid Evaluation meetings and Customer meetings as required

• Provide support on project revisions from Customer

• Support Impact partner/LBP after the issue of PO and assist with order entry

• Provide technical support for BOM /factory clarifications and assist with change orders

• Maintain records of all work done.

Basic Qualifications :

• Minimum requirement : Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical

• No prior work experience required

• Ability to co ordinate with multiple stakeholders in a project

• Basic knowledge of valves and its working principles

• Experience in Inside Sales or knowledge of pressure relief valves or regulators will be an added advantage.

• Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time
